The Role
As Creative Lead, youll shape and champion the creative vision across multi-channel campaigns, experiences (gamified online courses, live training, and immersive workshops), and digital projects.
Youll transform complex medical and strategic insights into compelling visual narratives that engage, educate, and inspirepushing creative boundaries in healthcare communications.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering genuine career progression in a growing, forward-thinking agency.
In your portfolio we will be looking for recent examples of digital design, UX/UI design, learning design, and interactive design/motion graphics, withevidence of creative direction, idea generation and problem solving.
Youll lead a team of three Designers, inspiring creativity and ensuring excellence across all outputs (previous line management essential)
About You
7+ years experience as a Creative Lead, Creative Director, or Senior Art Director, ideally in healthcare communications, product UX, or digital learning.
Expert in Figma essentialWe dont need a dedicated UX Designer just someone with solid UX experience.
A crisp, clean portfolio showcasing conceptual strength and polished execution across digital, interactive, and experiential work.
Deep understanding of brand development, UX/UI design, and interactive storytelling.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams from concept through delivery.
Exceptional communication and presentation skillsable to simplify complex ideas and build client confidence.
Passionate about emerging technology and its potential to elevate engagement and education.
Most of the work involves interactive digital projects where there will be several UX decisions that directly influence the design.
A strong design background with evidence of great concepts and ideas is the priority.
Experience with digital projects and e-learning comes next.
The key thing is their design and layout expertise.
They already have a solid team to take things forward from style frames, but they need someone who can bring strong ideas that land well with clients and then help maintain high design standards throughout.
Design Tools and Workflow:The backbone of their workflow is Figma, where we collaborate in real time through both Figma and FigJam.
Their projects are highly interactive and collaborative both internally and with clients and Figma enables them to co-create, review, and refine ideas efficiently.
Theyre an advanced Figma organisation, with a well-established design system that supports consistency and speed across projects.
While Figma forms the core of our UX and design collaboration, they also use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite for detailed visual design, animation, and production ensuring every concept is executed to the highest creative standard.
What Youll Do
Lead creative direction across campaigns, experiences, and digital/animation projects.
Translate strategic and medical objectives into engaging, story-led concepts.
Champion innovation and big-picture thinkingbringing fresh ideas to every brief.
Inspire and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, setting high standards for craft and innovation.
Oversee the design and delivery of interactive experiences (VR, AR, gamified learning, interactive video).
Ensure UX/UI excellence across all digital touchpointsintuitive, accessible, and beautifully executed.
Present creative ideas confidently to clients and internal teams, articulating the rationale with clarity and passion.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies that enhance learning and engagement.
Maintain exceptional standards of creativity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Location & Working Style
Based in central Brighton, in a dog-friendly office.
Ideally suited to candidates within a 30-minute commute (bus, train, or cycle).
