About the Role




As

Creative Health Projects Assistant

, you'll support the development and lead the delivery of a two-year project funded by the

Health and Wellbeing in Museums Fund

. This is a fixed term contract for 2 years. The project focuses on using creative health interventions to support:

People in housing need

- including those entering temporary accommodation or facing housing instability.

Older people who are recently bereaved

- helping to reduce isolation and promote connection.

You'll work closely with the

Creative Health Projects Officer

, Housing and Crematorium teams, and other partners to co-design and deliver engaging, supportive sessions using museum collections and cultural resources

.

What You'll Be Doing



Supporting consultation and programme design shaped by participant input. Leading safe, welcoming creative sessions that promote wellbeing. Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Helping develop evaluation tools and contributing to sector-wide learning through a toolkit and events. Supporting outreach and promotion to encourage participation.

What We're Looking For




To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Experience facilitating groups for adults, ideally in a creative health or wellbeing setting. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). A person-centred approach and genuine interest in heritage and culture as tools for wellbeing. A-level education or equivalent.

Desirable

: Experience in arts/heritage, co-production, event delivery, museum object handling, or working with vulnerable groups.

Special Requirements



A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport. Willingness to work nonstandard hours, including weekends. Satisfactory

enhanced DBS check

(funded).
