Partner Lab is Channel 4 Sales' in-house creative partnerships and sponsorship offering, with the ambition to create stand-out advertising campaigns for our commercial partners.



Made up of four specialist teams - Partnerships, Sponsorship, Creative Strategy, and Production, Partner Lab brings together Channel 4's content expertise and cultural understanding with client brand objectives to deliver high-quality, engaging work across TV, streaming, sponsorship, and branded entertainment. Job Purpose





Reporting to the Senior Creative Strategy Lead, the Creative Strategy Lead is responsible for developing bold, culturally resonant advertising experiences across the Channel 4 ecosystem - from live TV to Streaming and Social Branded Entertainment.



Curious and insight-driven, with a passion for creativity and storytelling, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of brands and agencies to shape campaigns that turn ideas into broadcast-quality creative. From large-scale brand partnerships to quick-turnaround responses, you'll bring both creative flair and a collaborative mindset to every brief.



Confident in both proactive and reactive ideation, you'll work closely with Channel 4 Sales, Commissioning, external production partners, and in-house teams including 4Studio and 4Creative. With a strong focus on storytelling, you'll show advertisers how their ideas can be brought to life through the unique voice, talent, and cultural impact of Channel 4.

Key Responsibilities


Lead the end-to-end development of proposals, ensuring ideas align with brand briefs through clear goals, research, rationale, and strategy. Balance client needs with creative ambition, acting as the bridge between creativity and revenue. Collaborate with Sales, Commissioning, and Production to deliver responses and proactive ideas that meet Channel 4's creative standards and client timelines. Partner with the Senior Creative Strategy Lead to deliver holistic Channel 4 responses and compelling, story-led narratives on allocated RFPs. Contribute to brainstorms that generate original, impactful ideas. Manage multiple projects at different stages, ensuring timelines are met. Support campaign evaluation with Creative Strategy peers and the Measurement & Insights team. Gather and act on regular feedback to improve outputs and identify new opportunities that drive revenue and innovation. Champion culturally-led creativity within Channel 4 Sales, inspiring colleagues and clients through meetings, workshops, and external sessions. Deliver narrative-driven presentations and dynamic workshops that showcase Channel 4's advertising proposition. Support a range of advertisers through varied initiatives and production support, working alongside the Senior Creative Strategy Lead. Stay ahead of cultural and industry trends by attending relevant events, distilling key themes, and sharing insights with Sales teams. Contribute to creative collateral and repositories, including case studies, performance data, and insight pieces for internal and external use.

Essential Experience and Skills


Experience in a creative, planning or strategy role within a media owner, publisher, platform, agency or brand environment. Strong understanding of broadcaster partnerships and branded entertainment across linear and social channels. A multi-tasker with excellent problem-solving skills; focused on 'getting things done' A motivated self-starter fully immersed in culture in order to inspire thinking that will resonate with mass audiences. Broad range of creative skills, with experience crafting compelling, succinct ideas that can work across linear, streaming and social. Ability to thrive in a collaborative culture, embracing change and effectively implementing feedback. Thrives in fast-paced commercial environments. Passion for Channel 4's mission and values.



Basic salary per annum starting from



71,094.00

Hybrid working



From September 2023, C4 has operated a 60/40 working pattern, equating to three office days per week.
