Jaego's House is a vibrant, family-focused members' club. In this beautifully restored Grade?II listed building, you'll find spaces that bring families together: a Jungle Gym, Soft Play, Kids' Cinema, Creche & Kids Club, plus dedicated areas for parents such as a Gym, Fitness Studios, Cafe, Coworking Study, Restaurant and bar.

We are a warm, inclusive community, hosting coffee mornings, maternity meetups, adult only evenings, kids' classes (from cooking to baby ballet), cinema viewings, holiday camps, birthday parties, and more

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a passionate, experienced and caring Creche & Kids Club Manager who loves working with children and supporting families. Benevolence, empathy, fun and a calm, confident presence are key, you will lead a team that parents trust, and children feel safe with.

We welcome applications from those with Early Years qualifications or relevant childcare leadership experience, especially from settings like nurseries, after-school clubs, or performing arts schools.

About You

Proven experience managing a childcare team or similar setting A full and relevant childcare qualification preferred (Level 3 or above preferred) Strong understanding of EYFS and child/staff ratios In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation and experience acting as Designated Safeguarding Officer Experience in activity-led environments (e.g., dance or drama schools, nurseries) Confident handling team dynamics and managing diverse personalities Excellent people management skills with a focus on mentoring and training Ability to think on your feet and lead by example Creativity, flexibility, and a playful mindset

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Creche/Kids Club Manage rotas, team scheduling, and activity planning Supervise, mentor, and develop a diverse team through regular training, 1:1s, return-to-work meetings, and coaching Liaise with the content team to coordinate engaging weekly and ad-hoc programming Create a positive, stimulating environment for children Communicate confidently with families Promote positive staff culture and team cohesion
