What does the role involve?

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where you'll play a key role in supporting our Retail Collections team with a range of administrative tasks. You'll not only handle day-to-day admin duties but also use your strong communication skills to engage with customers--ensuring every interaction contributes to a positive customer experience.

During the initial training period, you will be required to work in the office five days a week. After training is complete, there will be greater flexibility, including the option for some home working.



Some of your key duties will include:




Manage customer communications and provide updates to ensure all parties are informed about the status of their queries. Accurately allocate incoming funds to the appropriate accounts. Deliver excellent customer service with a calm, professional, and helpful telephone manner. Work closely with the wider team to ensure contractual processes are followed consistently and effectively.


What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with previous customer service experience, ideally gained in a regulated office environment. You take pride in delivering great service to both customers and colleagues, and you're known for being organised, attentive, and a team player.



Also, we're looking for the following:


Strong written and verbal communication skills A calm and supportive telephone manner Solid IT skills, especially in Excel, with excellent attention to detail Ability to work with large datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy
