We have a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Assistant/ Administrator to join a highly successful local business.
Based in our Head office Accounts Department in Newark, Partic Motor Spares Limited is a long-established family owned and run business with 13 branches across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire Leicestershire & Yorkshire.
You will work alongside the Group Credit Controller, and work closely with every team/branch within the business to ensure a seamless process for all aspects of finance and accounting.
You will be detail-driven, be able to multi-task across a range of projects and be an experienced self-starter. Working as part of a small team and assisting with accounts administration.
Day to Day duties will include :
Bank reconciliation and movements
Credit card reconciliation
Processing of petty cash and office receipts.
Preparing and sending customer account statements
Liaising with internal teams on Credit related issues
Setting up customer accounts and defining credit terms
Strong organisational skills
Good communication skills with the ability and confidence to liaise with people at all levels
Good, organised administration experience
Communicate with customers regarding payments & resolving queries
Key Requirements :
Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel, regular use of external portals will be required for some customers.
Good communication Skills
Worked in a busy account's environment dealing with day-to-day issues and meeting deadlines.
Had experience in all areas of accountancy and be prepared to offer support where needed. Experience in sales ledger, credit control would be an advantage, but not essential.
A practical and outgoing personality as you will be expected to work with departments and managers within the business, as well as account customers.
