Job Title: Credit Control Associate - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract



Location: Cwmbran, Wales



Salary: Competitive



We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team in Cwmbran. The primary responsibility of the Credit Controller will be to manage the company's credit and collections process, ensuring timely payments from customers and maintaining accurate records of outstanding debts.



Key Responsibilities:



Managing the company's credit control function, including chasing outstanding debts and resolving payment issues Regularly reviewing customer accounts to identify potential credit risks Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment Working closely with the sales team to ensure credit terms are adhered to Producing regular reports on outstanding debts and collection efforts Providing support and advice to internal stakeholders on credit-related matters Assisting with the reconciliation of customer accounts


Requirements:



Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role Knowledge of credit management best practices and legal regulations Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is desirable
