Credit Control Bordereaux Analyst

Job Summary:

To support and develop the analysis and management of bordereaux from Beazley Service Company to provide robust management information on binding authorities to the business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the credit control team to deliver the business vision for the accurate and timely submission of Service Company bordereau, as defined by Lloyds standards. Production and analysis of accurate bordereaux for Service Company entities to upload into the relevant database. This involves: + Analysing the data provided by credit control teams, effecting accurate reconciliation and implementing controlled manual remediation of data where applicable.
+ Ensuring that bordereaux are consistent with Lloyd's Reporting Standards (v5.2) as well as Beazley's own data requirements for regulatory and internal reporting;
+ Agreeing, communicating and documenting what data cleansing and business rules need to be applied to the data as it is entered to ensure that it results in a consistent format.
+ Developing and documenting bordereaux manipulation;
+ Documentation ownership and maintenance of fields mapped and rules applied to ensure consistency, common standards and version control;
+ Finding, and documenting, logical, practical solutions to issues encountered.
Working with key stakeholders to strive to achieve right first-time submissions

These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.

Degree or equivalent in any discipline

Skills and Abilities

Excellent excel skills are required for this role, with a willingness to learn Ability to think creatively to both anticipate and solve problems. Knowledge and Experience

Experience of cleansing/manipulating business data, preferably within an insurance environment for analysis purposes and/or using systems to do this Numerate with ability to deal with large volume of data whilst retaining detail accuracy Knowledge of binding authorities / bordereaux beneficial Knowledge of Macro's beneficial Experience of working in a Lloyd's / general insurance environment advantageous
