Job Title: Credit Control Executive



Reports to: Credit Control Manager



The Basics:



Aim to have a complete understanding of your role and be sure to raise any queries about your responsibilities to the Collections and Retention Manager.

Responsibilities:



Oversee all open loans within your allocated collections portfolio, & ensure the timeline is updated as and when we have an update, ensuring missed repayments are promptly recovered within the established collections process.

Have pride in your work and exercise a high level of due diligence in regard to your open loan case portfolio.

Ensure you have completed all training associated to Cubefunder's Collections department and processes, inclusive of keeping up to date should regulations change.

Keep on top of payments received by bank transfer throughout the day and ensure they are allocated accordingly.

Support the Senior Credit Control Executive or the Collections and Retention Manager if required with collating the required data from your open loan portfolio.

Keep on top of the collections reporting system on a daily basis, ensuring all accounts are kept up to date with the correct status and notes.

Collaborate with the Customer Retention Team to identify customers who are eligible for further funding.

Keep on top of the communications assigned to you in the credit control email account.

Get to know Emerald CRM system and put ideas forward to the Collections and Retention Manager and the Operations Manager, for system changes that could enhance the collections process.

Prepare for challenging conversations, having a clear objective before calling.

Adhere to daily processes meticulously, including monitoring incoming repayments and managing payment reminders and follow-ups.

Build a rapport with clients within your portfolio.

Determine appropriate times to request customers' bank statements.

Support the Senior Credit Control Executive in managing non-payers.

Collaborate with your team to hit weekly targets.

Prioritise checking the Emerald platform daily and carry out the due diligence needed.

Have a flexible attitude to assisting with other open loan accounts, should cover within your team be required.
