We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires a strong understanding of financial services, excellent phone etiquette, and proficiency in accounting software.
Location, New Holland
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm
Salary: depends on experience between 27,000 - 30,000 per annum

Key responsibilities:
Control the Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions sales ledger system to ensure it runs effectively & liaise with Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions staff as required.
Producing overdue letters for Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions & Howarth Timber & Building Supplies.
Daily monitoring of internals accounts small group of branches.
Assist with setting up new customer accounts on the Kerridge system for both companies as required.
Running credit reports for uplifts, new accounts and reviewing credit limits as required.
Posting daily bank payment for Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions and allocating the payments as needed.
Monitoring credit limits for Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions.
Chasing overdue balances by phone, email & letter for and start escalating debt for Howarth Timber & Building Supplies as required to branch managers & credit manager.
Sending accounts to Atradius for further debt collection as required for Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions & Howarth Timber & Building Supplies.
Sending small debts to the small claims court as required.
Dealing with customer payment queries for Howarth Timber Engineered Solutions & Howarth Timber & Building Supplies as required.
Assist with other areas of the sales ledger & credit control function as required and control the month end procedure and run all relevant reports.
Support the Credit Manager daily as required and cover for when on annual leave.
