Credit Controller

Job Description

A varied and hands on role in a profitable c 120m+ revenue B2B food packaging manufacturing business which is a subsidiary of a dynamic privately owned international group. As part of a finance team of 10 people, you will play a key role in ensuring Seda UK maintains effective and timely sales ledger invoicing and query resolution, optimal cash collection, and insightful credit limit and aged debt monitoring and reporting.

Key responsibilities:



New customer credit checks and set up Daily invoicing & cash allocation Issuing of customer statements and effective and timely management and resolution of customer invoicing queries Coordination of credit/debit note process and reporting Initiating and monitoring legal collection process where appropriate Issuing clearance instructions & commercial invoices for EU exports Ensuring aged debt collection targets are achieved Preparation of data and commentary for monthly aged debt and credit limit reports for FC review and Group distribution Sales ledger maintenance and credit monitoring (D&B) Identifying & implementing business process improvements Finance admin for invoices, delivery notes and related paperwork Support/cover for purchase ledger processing Other ad hoc tasks as required in the department SAP user testing and training for go live 2026 plus master data ownership

Qualifications and Experience:



Experience in a similar role is desirable, ideally in a dynamic B2B manufacturing environment 5 GCE/GCSEs incl English and Maths AAT Foundation preferable but not essential AS400/BPCS experience (current system) in a multi-currency business and/or SAP (new system) experience in market to cash Familiarity with current Incoterms and experience of instructing customs agents beneficial but not essential

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
