We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance Team in Leeds. This is a full-time role, although part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll take responsibility for the full credit control process, ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate client records, and building strong customer relationships. It's a busy, hands-on position where you'll play a key part in supporting the company's cash flow.
What you'll be doing
Managing the end-to-end credit control process.
Ensuring customers pay within agreed terms.
Building positive relationships with customers and their accounts teams.
Resolving queries on sales invoices.
Managing relationships with large accounts and problem-solving daily.
Completing sales invoice and statement reconciliations.
Producing weekly credit control reports.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in credit control.
Confident, proactive, and customer focused.
Excellent communication skills (phone and email).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to manage workload effectively and solve problems.
Proficient in Excel and Xero.
