Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CREDIT CONTROLLER to join the office based team of a ell established, BILSTON based Manufacturing and Engineering business.

Salary is completely dependent on experience and will be meaningfully discussed at interview however we anticipate that the starting salary will be in the region of 27,000 to 32,000. Core hours will likely be 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Note : We will either consider a prompt start within the next few weeks or agree a start date in January to best suit all concerned.

As a CREDIT CONTROLLER, you will quickly find yourself:

Working closely with the Directors & Finance Team. Proactively chasing payment of outstanding invoices by phone and in writing. Raising Customer invoices, credit notes & statements. Reconciling overdue accounts and monitoring credit limits Reporting on aged debtors, potential risks and necessary escalations Inputting sales ledger invoices. Processing customer payments, refunds & billing adjustments Responding to invoice queries. Adhere and suggest improvements to internal credit control policies Supporting the wider accounts team as required
To ensure your consideration as our CREDIT CONTROLLER your application should clearly highlight the following:

Credit control experience in a business to business environment. Computer literacy including Microsoft office and SAGE (sage line50) or similar accounting software. Reducing the aged debtors ledger and average debtor days Confident and welcoming communication skills at all levels Proactive and "no nonsense" approach to payment chasing Attention to detail
You should already be living within commutable distance of Bilston AND have the "right to work" within the UK.

This position will ideally suit an experienced CREDIT CONTROLLER or accounts assistant within a B2B environment, ideally within manufacturing engineering, construction or distribution.
