Enertech Limited is a Droitwich based manufacturer of Combustion Equipment solutions for the heating and process sectors. We have an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller. Working with a successful, long standing growing business who are seeking a confident, motivated Credit Controller to join our busy Finance team. You'll play a vital role in managing credit control, reducing customer debt, and improving cash flow while maintaining excellent relationships across both internal teams and external customers.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
Conduct regular credit checks on clients and assess their creditworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with customers.
Perform data entry tasks related to invoicing and payment processing.
Utilise accounting software to track payments, generate reports, and analyse financial data.
Handle phone inquiries regarding account status, payment terms, and disputes with professionalism and courtesy.
Building strong internal relationships to help resolve and escalate queries effectively
Provide support in financial services by assisting with budgeting and forecasting as required.
Supporting the team with general administrative tasks
The successful candidate will have:
Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workload independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A motivated, proactive approach
Must be able to commute and work from our office five days a week (this is not a hybrid or remote role)
Previous experience in a Credit Control position at least 3 years
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
A confident, professional telephone manner
Experience with ERP systems or in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
