We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused

Credit Controller

to join our busy Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing business where you can really make an impact on cashflow and customer relationships.


What You'll Be Doing




As a Credit Controller, you will:


Take ownership of your own customer ledger, including managing overdue balances, placing accounts on/off stop, setting up payment plans, and issuing debt-chasing letters. Accurately record and allocate all incoming payments. Set up new customer accounts and perform credit checks to assess risk. Work closely with dedicated Account Managers to chase payments and resolve any customer queries. Monitor unallocated payments and arrange internal transfers where required. Produce weekly and monthly debtor reports for management. Support the Accounts Receivable Manager by attending meetings, suggesting process improvements, and ensuring credit control procedures are followed.

What We're Looking For




You'll thrive in this role if you have:


At least 2 years' experience in a credit control or similar finance role. Strong numeracy skills and great attention to detail. A credit control qualification would be advantageous, but not essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (experience with Dynamics would be a bonus). The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. A team-player mindset and a willingness to support process improvement.
