We are looking for an experienced credit controller to join our group finance department at our head office in Egham. As a Credit Controller your duties will involve working within a dynamic and fast-paced department, demonstrating strong proactive skills to manage a commercially diverse ledger of international customers. Main duties & responsibilities of the role will include;



Communicate with customers in a clear, constructive, and engaging manner, positively representing EFM at all times. Chase overdue debts by phone and email, maintaining accurate, timely, and well-documented records of all collection activities. Monitor the credit control inbox, responding to customer queries and internal requests promptly. Investigate and resolve invoice queries and disputes, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure swift resolution. Ensure all customer accounts operate within agreed payment terms, taking necessary action in line with company credit control policy when breaches occur. Process new account applications efficiently, in accordance with company credit checks and procedures. Collaborate with operational staff and management to ensure effective account management and prompt debt recovery. Weekly receivable calls with Management overseeing debtor positions, highlighting risks, outstanding balances, and recovery actions. Provide weekly and monthly overviews of the Group Receivable profile to senior management. Support month-end and year-end processes related to accounts receivable and credit control. Recommend accounts for legal escalation or write-off where appropriate, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policy.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Good self-management skills and ability to prioritise workload Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including excel Strong numerical and analytical skills Desire to develop knowledge and skills through additional learning or qualifications Ability to work confidentially and to treat issues with sensitivity

Working pattern and Benefits
