Credit Controller French Speaking

Job Description


As a Credit Controller, within the finance team, you will be responsible for collecting money owed to the businesses in a timely fashion in the line with the customers agreements, minimising aged debt and bad debt. Reporting to the Senior Financial Operations Manager, you will be liaising with key teams across the US and Europe maintaining a customer centric approach for both internal and external stakeholders.

Credit Control Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Accounts Receivables in boxes
  • Production of customer statements and dunning letters
  • Proactively contacting clients to ensure payments are incoming and to chase overdue payments
  • Preparation and execution of approved direct debit runs
  • Allocation of credit notes
  • Prompt follow up with customers receipts with no remittance advice
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date query log, resolution of queries working with Sales and the rest of the business as necessary
  • Manage any documentation required by the customer for payment facilitation (eg compliance and tax documents) as required
  • Regular reporting on collections. Monitor and reduce aged debt.
  • Reconcile customer accounts.
  • Assist invoicing team as required
  • Assist with audit as required

The successful Credit Controller:
  • Membership of Chartered Institute Credit Management (CICM) is desirable
  • Significant experience in a high volume AR environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
  • Experience with Oracle is an advantage
  • Proficient in Speaking French to C1 or fluent.
