Summary
We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our finance team. This role is vital in managing our financial processes and ensuring the smooth operation of credit control within our business.
Responsibilities
Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers.
Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and monitor outstanding debts.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment terms and account status.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
Analyse financial data to assess credit risk and make informed decisions.
Utilise accounting software for data entry and reporting purposes.
Provide regular updates on account statuses and forecasts to management.
Requirements
At least 5 years experience in credit control or accounts receivable roles, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
