Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the Accounting & Finance department within the education sector. Based in Glasgow, this role involves managing credit control processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
The successful Credit Controller will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the credit control system, ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and address any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for management review.
  • Assist with implementing policies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding debts.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

The successful Credit Controller should have:
  • Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting function.
