Timloc Building Products is a British manufacturer supplying merchant customers for over 60 years. We manufacture and supply sustainable building products from ground level right up to the roof ridge, from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Howden, East Yorkshire offering our merchant customers a broad product portfolio supported by industry leading next day service.
The Role: Credit Controller
We are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join our team. This role is vital to maintaining the financial health of the business while supporting our commitment to a next day delivery service in a fast moving environment.
Key responsibilities:
Managing and updating customer master data profiles
Processing customer payments in a timely manner
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and disputes
Building strong relationships with customers to secure timely payments
Performing credit evaluations on new and existing customers
Responding promptly to customer queries
Collaborating with the customer service team to resolve issues
Generating reports for the wider business
Requirements:
Proven experience in credit control and/or accounts payable
Excellent communication skills, particularly by both telephone and email
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamic Business Central (or similar ERP system) and Microsoft Excel
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Problem solving skills
Remuneration
: Up to 35,000 per annum
