Job Summary:
We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely payments, and minimising credit risk exposure.
Duties:
- Chase outstanding debts via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment status
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Analyse credit data and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Collaborate with internal departments to address payment issues promptly
- Utilise accounting software for data entry and reporting
- Implement effective credit control procedures to improve cash flow
Skills:
- Proficient in accounts payable processes
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong data entry abilities with high accuracy
- Familiarity with accounting software for financial transactions
- Experience in telemarketing or customer service is advantageous
- Ability to analyse financial information and make informed decisions
