Job Description

Easton Group is an established family business with 50 years' experience in the property industry.

Based in Dundonald, the business has a robust portfolio of residential and commercial properties, and we are currently looking to appoint a Credit Controller for our customer accounts.

This role would suit someone with prior experience as a credit controller, with excellent communication skills, who enjoys working both independently and as part of a small team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit control processes and procedures, be able to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and have excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Prior experience with a letting agent, private landlord, registered social landlord would be preferred (but not essential)

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts Ensure all invoices are paid on time and in accordance with agreed payment terms Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on overdue payments Resolve any account discrepancies or disputes in a timely and professional manner Prepare and send customer statements and reminders Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions Produce regular reports for senior management regarding debtor status and cash flow Liaise with internal teams to resolve payment issues Handle customer queries and provide excellent customer service Process credit applications and perform credit checks on potential customers

Requirements:



Proven experience as a Credit Controller, or similar role Strong understanding of credit control processes and procedures Excellent communication and negotiation skills; conflict resolution Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus A proactive and self-motivated approach

Salary & Benefits:



Salary 30,000 per annum 28 days holiday Pension Health Plan Training & Progression

Kilmarnock KA2 9EW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
