Job Overview



Due to team expansion and relocation, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Duties



Manage the credit control process, including monitoring accounts receivable and ensuring timely payments from clients. Conduct regular analysis of outstanding debts and implement effective collection strategies. Maintain accurate records of all communications with customers regarding payments and account status. Handle phone inquiries related to accounts payable, providing excellent phone etiquette to maintain customer relationships. Perform payment allocation tasks to update financial records accurately and promptly. Collaborate with local branches to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts.

Experience



Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial situations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Especially Excel. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Experience in payment allocation tasks with a high level of accuracy is required.
