The Role





As a Credit Controller, you will play an important role in delivering our company's credit control function and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts. Your expertise in credit control and exceptional attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining strong cash flow and minimising credit risks. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully delivering debt collections across a professional services environment with demonstrable ability to improve average collection days across a wide portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:



Meet monthly, daily, and weekly collection targets while minimising bad debt. Engage in high-volume calls and emails to chase debtors. Coordinate with Partners and Account Managers regarding overdue and disputed accounts. Provide support to the team, including deputising on occasion and additional adhoc duties. Allocate payments received to the system. Establish payment plans and client direct debits. Handle collections for a portion of the ledger with minimal direction. Perform complex reconciliations and compile documentation for legal action.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:



Strong analytic and numeric skills 2/3 years' credit control experience Demonstrates flexibility and prioritises workload effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Persistence, tenacity, and the ability to build client relationships Attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture Proficient in Excel and IT literate Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective project management, time management, and organisational skills Proactive, team-oriented, and demonstrates initiative

The Nitty Gritty



Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based) Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday Flexible working and happy employees are at the top of our list here at Gravita and we have been working hard to support our teams through the fast-paced changes.
