About you

Personal Characteristics

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This key role will focus on the collection of membership dues and event-related receivables, helping to ensure strong cash flow and effective financial operations across the organisation.

You must be a flexible, team player with personal integrity and confidence, and have the ability to build relationships with members whilst not being shy to ask for money.

Qualifications and knowledge areas

Proven experience as a credit controller or accounts receivable specialist, preferably within a membership or not-for-profit organisation. They should have a strong understanding of invoicing, credit control, and debt recovery processes and be proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and CRM systems.

Knowledge of renewable energy and clean technologies sector not essential but desirable.
