We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller based at our Head Office in Newark.

Working within a small team your main tasks will include:

Allocating payments received to customer accounts on our bespoke accounting software. Setting up new customer accounts including credit checking. Ensuring customers pay to agreed terms and having an active approach to debt collection. Liaising with our customers, sales team and Depot Managers.
As well as this we are looking for the following Personal attributes:

Being a hard working, focused individual you will have experience working within a Sales Ledger environment or similar aspects of a credit control department. Paying high levels of attention to detail, you must be able to work on your own initiative, and be reliable and motivated in your approach. Friendly and approachable, a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner and the confidence to use computerised systems with good Excel and Word skills. Understand the importance of and be enthusiastic about delivering excellent service to our customers and our depot staff.

Salary - Commensurate with experience. Hours - 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, working 8.00am - 4.00pm on a 1 in 3 week Rota basis. 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing to 36 days with service.
