Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Credit Control team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires strong people skills, excellent phone etiquette, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

Analyse customer accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate appropriate follow-up actions. Perform data entry tasks related to customer payments and account adjustments accurately and efficiently keeping task logger live. Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations. Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and provide insights for management decision-making. Maintain comprehensive records of communications with clients regarding payment arrangements and agreements.

Requirements

5 years proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interaction. Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records. Experience with accounting software is essential for managing accounts efficiently. Can do attitude Must be team player Forecast expected cash Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
