We are a successful and rapidly expanding company over multiple sites in a competitive market. We're looking to expand our finance department with this Credit Control role. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in our collaborative and expanding finance team and contribute to the company's financial efficiency.

Reports To



Credit Control Manager and Finance Team.

Job Overview



The Credit Controller is responsible for ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities and duties



Collecting overdue payments from clients through effective communication via phone, email and written correspondence.

Dealing with inbound calls for customers with various queries relating to their accounts.

Taking payments for invoices.

Making outbound calls relating to the resolution of queries

Generating statements and issuing copies of invoices and proof of delivery.

Keeping track of all customer receipts, reconciling invoices, statements, etc.

Collaborate with the finance, sales and service teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.

Credit checking and opening new accounts.

Posting receipts onto Company system.

Using company developed app.

Generate regular reports on outstanding debts, collection progress and client payment trends.

Invoice checking.

Maintaining a good relationship with customers.

Comply with all QMS procedures.

Qualifications/Skills



Experience in credit control, accounts receivable or finance.

Relevant industry experience and knowledge would be beneficial.

Good MS office and computer literacy skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

Experience in Sage 50 Accounts.

Criteria



Your application will only be considered if you are residing in the UK, have UK based experience and do not require sponsorship to apply for this position.

Whilst this is wholly a remote position, you will be required at attend our main depot in Harbury (CV33 9GX) initially for 2-3 days onboarding and training and occasionally for further training. All travel and overnight expenses will be covered or reimbursed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00-29,000.00 per year
