Job Description

At County Car and Van Rental, we believe that a well-administered business forms the backbone for success. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our accounts team in Stockport. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in helping to ensure that our customers pay on time.

Responsibilities

- Allocating a high volume of customer receipts and refunds with accuracy

- Reconciling customer accounts

- Chasing overdue debts

- Regular monitoringof customers on payment plans

- Submission and escalation of eligible debts to legal action

- Filling Agreements

- Manual Invoice and Credit Approvals and Posting

- Email management including shared mailbox

- Ad-hoc / other duties as required

Requirements

- AAT Level 3 Qualified / Finance Degree / Qualified by Experience (3 years + in similar position)

- Working knowledge of Sage Accounts (at least "50" product, but ideally MMS / 200)

- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Proficient in using MS365 suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Important Information

The initial period of employment is by a six-month fixed-term contract, which is renewable at the Company's exclusive discretion (may also consider making permanent).
