Job Overview


We are seeking a part-time office administrator ideally with credit control/bookkeeping experience to join our office based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate financial records as well as carrying out daily sales invoicing and processing of purchase invoices.

Responsibilities



Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments from clients. Conduct thorough analysis of customer accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate follow-up actions. Perform daily data entry tasks related to invoicing and payment processing with a high degree of accuracy. Utilise accounting software to maintain up-to-date records of transactions and customer interactions. Engage with clients via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing queries and resolving payment issues. Collaborate with the sales department to reconcile discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations. Process suppliers invoices on our bespoke software. File all associated paperwork

Qualifications



Previous experience in credit control or a similar financial role is preferred. Strong understanding of financial services and credit management principles. Proficiency in accounting software and data entry processes. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess financial information effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.
We are happy to offer a degree of flexibility on the scheduling of the four hours per day to fit in with the candidate's personal circumstances.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
