Crockett and Jones Limited is a family run business of high-quality footwear established in 1879.
We are recruiting for a Credit Controller/ Sales Ledger Accounts Clerk to be part of a team that combines craftsmanship with innovation to create exceptional footwear.
This is a full time, on site role reporting in to the Company Secretary.
Duties will be inclusive of;
Monitor and manage customer credit accounts to ensure timely payment
Daily import of invoices and credit notes
Month- end procedures
Month-end reports
Communicate with customers to facilitate prompt payment and address queries
Prepare and present credit-related reports to management.
Requirements;
Proven experience as a Credit Controller/sales ledger clerk or similar role.
Knowledge of credit management principles and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Methodical and disciplined.
Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
