Description Credit Officer \xe2\x80\x93 Commercial Lending

Up to \xc2\xa348,000 plus bonus and benefits

Due to rapid expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an International Bank in central London as they seek candidates with credit and financial analysis experience to join their Commercial Lending team. This is a very varied role, where you will be involved developing new business, preparing credit proposals, assisting with onboarding and supporting junior members of the team.

Duties of the Commercial Loans Officer to include:

• Monitor designated loan portfolio and develop new business
• Prepare credit proposals
• Liaise with the Risk Team during pre-approval stage on credit risk related matters
• Submit customer\'s credit facility proposal in a timely manner and ensure the facility drawdown process is coordinated and completed
• Liaise with Loans Team post-approval
• Build relationships with intermediaries and third parties (solicitors, valuers, brokers, accountants etc.)
• Prepare credit review reports on a regular basis
• Develop strategies, tactics and action plans so as to achieve key performance targets
• Supervision of junior members of staff

The successful Commercial Loans Officer will have:

• UK Banking experience is essential
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Economics, or a related discipline.
• Previous professional banking experience in commercial lending
