What would a typical day look like for you?
As Credit Risk Reporting Manager, you'll support the Credit Risk Portfolio & Reporting Manager in the independent oversight of the Bank's credit portfolio. You will be using tools such as SAS / SQL to interrogate data proactively and produce accurate and timely credit risk reports for various internal committees along with oversight provided on external regulatory reporting.
Taking responsibility for producing accurate and timely credit risk reports, managing portfolio risks, developing back book strategies, and conducting deep dive reviews to provide recommendations for corrective action.
In this role, you will support the Credit Risk Portfolio & Reporting Manager in the independent oversight of the Bank's credit portfolio by...
Producing regular high-quality reports for various committees along with collaborating with data teams in the organisation to enhance reporting infrastructure.
Providing oversight on regulatory reports (FINREP, Loan Book Data) to ensure the reports meet the regulatory requirements.
Managing the production, validation and control framework for credit risk reports.
Carrying out data analytics to provide deep dive portfolio reviews and insights on key emerging trends within various portfolios.
Leading and / or supporting on a range of Credit projects e.g., Digitisation of Collections, Automation of regulatory reporting and Data Infrastructure projects to name a few.
Your skills:
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Strong data manipulation and analysis skills, using tools such as SAS, SQL, Python & Excel.
Analytical problem solvers, able to work creatively with data to draw out insights and answer business questions.
Experience in the submission of compliant regulatory reporting, on time and to required standards.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key contacts across various departments, including senior leadership, governance committees, and specialist teams .
Experience in supporting first-line teams by providing data-driven solutions that improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience
How we work
Our belief is that we are " Better when Together " and want to balance the benefits of teaming up in person with flexible working where possible. We will be supportive and flexible to your circumstances, so if you're based in NI we ask colleagues to attend their base location a minimum of 3 days a week so they can connect, collaborate and learn together. The other 2 days can be worked either from home or another bank location. Some of our roles are customer facing which means that it's really important to be able to work with customers face to face and hybrid working isn't appropriate. If you're based in mainland GB we would require 2 days in the office per month (with an overnight stay).
