Phoenix Pet Cremations is growing and seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate individual to join our team. We offer bespoke pet cremation services and take great pride in providing a professional, empathetic, and supportive experience for our clients during emotionally difficult times.

Position Overview

You will be a key representative of our service, collecting and transporting beloved pets with care and respect. The role is self-employed and includes a structured service level agreement (SLA) to ensure consistency and professionalism.

Shift Pattern

Schedule:

4 days on, 4 days off (rotating pattern)

Shifts:

Early: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM Late: 2:30 PM - 8:30 PM Availability to work any day, Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport pets from homes and veterinary practices to our cremation facilities Operate within a 90-mile radius of London Use our bespoke software to manage collections, view schedules, and navigate routes Provide compassionate, respectful customer service at all times Recognize and adapt to emotional cues from grieving pet owners Complete paperwork accurately and on time Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment Follow traffic laws and route schedules Support team by covering additional shifts during holidays and peak times

What We're Looking For

Full UK driving license Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills High levels of compassion, empathy, and professionalism Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedure Comfortable using bespoke systems (training provided) Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently Previous experience in a similar role (driving or customer-facing) is a plus, but not required Flexibility to take on overtime when needed
