Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Manage time effectively to meet service demands while maintaining quality standards. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques in food preparation. Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and work as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
