About us

Taka Taka is a fast-paced Mediterranean street-food restaurant serving fresh gyros, souvlaki, wraps and salads made to order. We are expanding our Bournemouth team and looking for versatile, hardworking people who can contribute across multiple stations.

Role overview

We are looking for

multi-skilled Crew Members

who can work in front-of-house, kitchen preparation, and ideally the grill area. Candidates must be able to confidently perform

, or both. Experience with grilling souvlaki or cutting gyros is a strong advantage.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to people who thrive in busy environments and enjoy learning different parts of the operation.

Key responsibilities

Front-of-house & crew duties:

Serving customers with a friendly, positive attitude Assembling wraps, salads, sides and plated dishes Operating tills and handling payments accurately Maintaining a clean, organised service area

Kitchen & grill duties:

Cooking and grilling meats for souvlaki and gyros Cutting and carving gyros meat Preparing fresh ingredients daily Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times

What we're looking for

Ability to work

late nights and weekends

(essential) Experience in hospitality or fast-food settings (preferred) Grill experience (souvlaki/gyros) is an advantage, but training can be provided Reliable, hardworking and committed to high standards Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to learn multiple stations (till, prep, wrapping, grill, etc.)
