Responsibilities
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order processing.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately.
Kitchen or culinary experience will be an advantage, particularly in fast-paced environments.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
