Krum

has been one of the best openings in the area for 2023, providing the best gelato and gelato products that the North West has seen in a long time. The shop and the lab are located in the very heart of Chester (at the "Cross") and Krum is the third venture of the team behind Da Noi Chester and Augusto Pizzeria. At Krum, we make all our gelato in-house, using the finest ingredients in the market and our own recipes. The milk and cream come from local farmers and our gelato base recipe has been developed with Italian market specialists before our opening last year. Our customers will always find house favourites joined by an ever-changing selection of seasonal flavours.

Who are we looking for?

After a fantastic start of the new season and the 7-days/week opening, and following the amazing 3 stars-award, we are now looking for

full-time or part-time

, passionate, detail oriented and hardworking Front of House staff to join our team. People who take pride in selling incredible products and keeping Krum at the top of the list of places you can find real Italian gelato in the North West.

Desirable skills we would like you to have:

A minimum of 1 year of experience with gelato or ice-cream or similar hospitality environment Confidence in dealing with general public, promoting the brand Diligence with the cleaning processes Comfortable to work on your own, but equally enjoy working with your colleagues in a nice and relaxed environment.
It's a great offer for anyone who wants to become a member of one of the most popular Italian brands/groups and at the same time showcase and improve their skills. We can also offer training for the right candidate if you don't have the relevant experience.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service during volume, fast paced demand Product knowledge: ability to explain Krum's specific product details Barista experience is definitely preferrable Manage cash register and EPOS system Restock orders and keep inventory assisting with ordering new stock as required Restock all confectionery, utensils and all other inventory to provide day to day running of Krum Maintain exceptional hygiene standards as well as demonstrate food preparation skills following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products; Store frozen ice cream in appropriate containers, in designated refrigeration areas; Ensure that appropriate maintenance is performed on utensils and ice cream making machinery; To open/close Krum as required including assisting in closing of the cash registers;

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and orders

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in a team setting
