Duties

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including taking orders and upselling menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to meet service demands while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices are preferred. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Familiarity with basic maths for handling transactions and inventory management is beneficial. A positive attitude towards helping customers and working collaboratively with colleagues is essential.
