Overview

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring high levels of satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service Follow time management practices to ensure orders are prepared promptly during busy periods Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operation during shifts

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is desirable Experience in serving customers and understanding of basic food safety protocols will be beneficial Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with good organisational skills Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control Culinary experience or knowledge of food presentation techniques is a plus but not mandatory
