Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and inventory management. Help train new crew members as needed, sharing knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 22 per week
