Overview

Are you passionate about empowering women and girls through sport? We're looking for an enthusiastic female coach to join our team at Edgbaston as part of the Cricket Cities Community project. This role works closely with women's groups from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds, where a female coach is a genuine occupational requirement due to community needs and preferences. While some sessions will be mixed gender, the focus is on supporting and engaging female participants.

As our Cricket Cities Community Coach, you'll deliver inspiring sessions in inner-city communities, help grow female participation, and build strong relationships with local partners. You'll play a key role in breaking down barriers to activity and promoting wellbeing through cricket.

Responsibilities

Deliver community coaching sessions as part of the Cricket Cities Community project Liaise with the Women and Girl's Community Manager to assist in promotion of all female participation programmes Build relationships with community partners Support local communities in accessing cricket Liaise with external partners to enhance Warwickshire Cricket Foundation Community Cricket Programmes Actively promote all Warwickshire Cricket Foundation's activities and offerings to schools, communities and relevant stakeholders Maintain accurate records in compliance with the requirements of funding partners, ensuring all data is logged appropriately

Experience

Extensive coaching experience Experience of working and coaching in inner city communities Experience of coaching females An understanding of the needs and barriers to female engagement in physical activity Cultural awareness of multiple communities Committed to improving the physical and mental wellbeing of women and girls through sport

Qualifications

Sports Coaching Qualification First Aid Certificate Driving License Enhanced DBS Clearance Safeguarding Qualification
