About the Role:
The CRM Application Engineer will be the technical owner of our Salesforce platform, responsible for shaping and evolving the CRM architecture to meet business objectives of deriving value from data and from knowing our customers. You will lead design decisions across data models, integrations, custom workflows, functionalities, and user interfaces. In this technical role, you will be responsible for the relevance, performance, and reliability of the Salesforce CRM ecosystem, including managing key interfaces with secondary CRM systems and internal tools. You will work closely with web developers, BI developers and system integration specialists to deliver Single View of the Customer and Customer 360, as well as contribute to enterprise architecture decisions to ensure data alignment, security and transparency between systems.
Essential Skills / Experience:
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL).
Strong background in architecting scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Strong knowledge of platform limits, sharing rules, role hierarchy, and security best practices.
Proven experience leading system-wide initiatives such as data model refactoring, and Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud implementations.
Experience designing and building solutions using Salesforce Flow (including record-triggered, scheduled, and screen flows).
Strong track record of integrating Salesforce with external CRMs, middleware, and other data platforms, using both Salesforce Rest APIs and Custom APEX Rest Services.
Familiar with DevOps practices using SFDX, GitHub, and CI/CD tools.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and architectural blueprints.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills

Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Application/System Architect, or Marketing Cloud credentials.
Experience embedding external content using LWC, Iframes, and Lightning App Builder.
Web development using modern frontend technologies (e.g. React, Vue.js) for guiding and contributing to Customer 360 web driven integrations.
Experience with tools such as MuleSoft, Snaplogic, or custom API gateways.
Understanding of Agentforce, Data Cloud, customer data platforms (CDPs), master data management (MDM), and customer journey analytics.
Experience with Salesforce CPQ.
Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
Experience with Agile delivery and comfort operating in a product-based CRM model.
