What is the Job?
As BREAKFAST SUPERVISOR, you'll take the lead in one of the most crucial areas of guest satisfaction - our breakfast service. You'll inspire and guide the team to deliver exceptional quality, ensuring every guest starts their day with a memorable experience that reflects Crowne Plaza's high standards. Your calm leadership and ability to motivate others under pressure will keep service running smoothly, even during the busiest mornings. While your main focus will be the breakfast operation, you'll also be a valued member of the wider Food & Beverage team - providing support in other areas when business needs require it.

About The Role
Your day to day:
PEOPLE
Lead, motivate, and support the breakfast team to deliver exceptional service in line with Crowne Plaza brand standards.
Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Provide on-the-job coaching, performance feedback, and assist with training and development of team members.
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued and empowered.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
Ensure every guest enjoys a warm, welcoming, and seamless breakfast experience from arrival to departure.
Uphold IHG's "True Hospitality" promise by anticipating guest needs and handling any issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain buffet presentation, food quality, and service flow in accordance with Crowne Plaza brand standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and timely replenishment.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are met, including HACCP and local regulations.
Monitor and report any maintenance, equipment, or safety issues to the relevant departments promptly.
Support environmental initiatives by minimizing waste, conserving energy, and encouraging sustainable practices.
Adhere to company policies, security procedures, and IHG compliance requirements at all times.
FINANCIAL
Complete weekly departmental rotas and payroll forecasts to manage costs in line with business needs, adapting these to deal with last minute changes as required.
Active management of the kitchen food cost through effective ordering, stock rotation and dish preparation to reduce waste.
Maintain costing and allergen information of all dishes prepared and sold from the kitchen, so these are readily available.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Oversee the day-to-day breakfast operation, ensuring service excellence, brand consistency, and smooth coordination between front and back of house.
Take ownership for guest satisfaction scores and service delivery within the breakfast period, driving continuous improvement.
Ensure all team members understand and uphold Crowne Plaza and IHG brand standards at all times.
Report performance results, operational issues, and improvement opportunities to the Restaurant or Food & Beverage Manager.

Required Criteria
A warm, confident, and engaging personality that puts guests and colleagues at ease.
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role, ideally within a hotel environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a service-focused team.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring quality, presentation, and guest experience remain consistently high.
The ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional shifts outside the core breakfast service.
