Crowne Plaza Belfast is a luxurious hotel nestled in a picturesque parkland setting, just a short drive from Belfast city center. The hotel features 153 elegantly designed guest rooms, including suites with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Guests can indulge in a variety of dining options at the hotel's acclaimed restaurant and unwind at the stylish bar.
The property boasts extensive conference and event facilities, making it an ideal choice for business meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. What is the job?
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER to lead the food and beverage operation at Crowne Plaza Belfast, a flagship IHG hotel set within a unique parkland location on the outskirts of the city.
The role has full responsibility for the restaurant, bar, and room service operation, serving a diverse mix of corporate, leisure, conference, wedding, and local guests.
The Food & Beverage Manager will play a key role in positioning Crowne Plaza Belfast's food and beverage offering as both a core part of the guest experience and a destination in its own right, while ensuring full compliance with IHG brand standards and Andras Hotels values.

About the role
Your day to day
People
Lead, motivate, and develop a large, multi-outlet food and beverage team across restaurant, bar, and room service.
Build strong departmental leadership through effective recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.
Ensure all colleagues are trained to IHG and Crowne Plaza service standards, with a strong focus on consistency and engagement.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and pride within the department.
Manage employee relations matters professionally and in line with Andras Hotels policies and employment legislation.
Guest Experience
Deliver a consistently high-quality food and beverage experience that reflects Crowne Plaza brand positioning and guest expectations.
Ensure seamless service delivery across all outlets, including peak periods driven by conferences, weddings, and leisure demand.
Actively monitor guest feedback, review scores, and brand metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead the handling of complex guest feedback and service recovery, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Conferences & Events, and Kitchen teams to ensure a joined-up guest journey.
Responsible Business
Ensure full compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and licensing legislation.
Champion responsible alcohol service and ensure team compliance with all licensing requirements.
Drive sustainability initiatives within the department, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment for colleagues, guests, and contractors.
Ensure adherence to IHG and Andras Hotels responsible business standards at all times.
Financial
Take full ownership of the food and beverage budget, driving revenue performance while tightly controlling costs.
Manage payroll, food and beverage cost percentages, stock control, and purchasing processes to maximise profitability.
Develop and implement commercially focused menus, promotions, and initiatives that appeal to hotel guests and the local Belfast market.
Analyse financial and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Support hotel-wide commercial strategies, including conferences, weddings, and seasonal events.
Accountability
Be fully accountable for the performance of the food and beverage operation against agreed KPIs, budgets, and IHG brand standards.
Lead preparation for and execution of IHG quality audits, EHO visits, and internal compliance reviews.
Provide clear, timely reporting on departmental performance, challenges, and action plans.
Take ownership of operational decision-making within food and beverage, ensuring standards are maintained at all times.
Act as a senior leader within Crowne Plaza Belfast, contributing to wider operational and commercial objectives.
