Metamindz is a fast-growing UK-based IT software company. We provide fractional CTO-as-a-service, build digital products, hire exceptional technical talent, and conduct technical due diligence for global clients.

We're currently looking for a CTO / Tech Lead (hands-on) to join one of our clients in a long-term engagement. In this role, you'll shape the technical vision of a rapidly growing product platform in the investment and compliance domain.

Role & Responsibilities

Own and drive the full technical stack, delivering key backend and frontend features. Architect scalable, secure systems on Azure, supporting microservices, serverless, and modern DevOps workflows. Design and optimize APIs, integrations, and data pipelines for compliance, reporting, and investor workflows. Lead infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and operational best practices to ensure platform stability. Explore and adopt new tools, AI-driven enhancements, and modern development practices.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience with backend and frontend technologies, building production systems. Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend frameworks. Experience with Azure, microservices, serverless, or distributed architectures. A track record of owning projects end-to-end, from architecture to deployment. Openness to innovation and experimentation, including the use of AI-assisted workflows. Strong startup spirit: independence, initiative, and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Important:

We'd like you to spend time at the London office regularly, ideally 2-3 days per week, or 1-2 times per month if you're based outside the London area - to support collaboration and team alignment
