We are seeking a talented and passionate Curry or Tandoori Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards. Help supervise kitchen staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Assist in training new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain quality standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
