The Role: Customer Account Director
This is a customer focused sales role that blends reactive work with proactive outbound activity. You will handle incoming customer requests while running targeted campaigns that promote our core services including mobile, business fibre broadband, WhatsApp for Business, CRM integration and IT solutions.
Internal Sales Responsibilities
Around 20 to 25 percent of your time will focus on supporting existing customers with their immediate needs.
Handle inbound customer requests for upgrades, changes or additional services
Prepare quotes for small scale add ons such as users, mobile SIMs, WiFi points and software licences
Work closely with our provisioning and engineering teams to ensure every upgrade is delivered smoothly
Raise chargeable work and keep CRM notes accurate and up to date
Outbound Sales Responsibilities
Approximately 75 to 80 percent of the role will be outbound focused, engaging warm and semi warm customers.
Run targeted campaigns across our full range of services
Contact existing customers to explore renewal dates, current providers and service gaps
Deliver clear and confident product demonstrations, especially for new or bespoke solutions
Identify opportunities and close smaller deals directly, passing larger opportunities to the wider sales team
Follow every sale through to completion to ensure the customer has a seamless experience
Collaboration and Communication
Act as the link between Sales and Provisioning to make sure solutions are delivered exactly as promised
Track all opportunities accurately within Zoho CRM
Share insights and feedback from campaigns to help improve performance
What We're Looking For
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within telecoms, IT or SaaS
Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering demos
Good CRM knowledge, with Zoho experience being a bonus
Great attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
A proactive, target driven approach with the confidence to manage your own pipeline
