Are you a confident communicator with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for helping customers?

We're looking for a Customer Accounts Advisor to join our Collections team in Cardiff or Redhill. In this role, you'll manage customer accounts with care and precision, making sure that arrears are handled in line with policy and regulation. You'll be a key player in maintaining customer satisfaction while supporting financial recoveries.

What you'll be doing



As a Customer Accounts Advisor, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for:

Managing arrears and maintaining compliance with collections policies. Liaising with internal teams and external partners like Citizens Advice and StepChange. Meeting service level agreements (SLA's) and performance targets. Assisting with monthly management information (MI) and reporting. Handling queries and complaints with professionalism. Supporting across Collections, Customer Services, End of Contract, Fleet Collections, and Admin. Making sure accounts are fully worked before escalating to Recoveries or Litigation. Upholding Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Forbearance principles.

Who we're looking for



This role is ideal for someone who's customer-focused, resilient, and ready to make a difference. You'll need:

Computer literacy - confident with Word, Excel, and keyboard skills. GCSE-level numeracy or equivalent. Experience in customer service or collections (preferred but not essential). Knowledge of Stellantis Finance products and collections processes (desirable). Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills. A team player with analytical thinking and a "find a way" mindset.
