It\'s within our Technical Advisory team at Marley, that we\'re recruiting for a Customer Advisor (referred to internally as Technical Advisor) due to continued growth and interest in Marley\'s latest products.

So what\'s my mission?
The first step will be within our close-knit, supportive and vibrant Technical Advisory Team where you\'ll provide technical support on various Marley products and services via phone and email. This will involve general guidance and advice as well as producing technical specifications, and material estimates provided by customers.

You\'ll have a lot of variety to your working day and will regularly speak with Architects, Builders\' Merchants, and Housing Developers. From an internal perspective, you\'ll work closely with Marketing, Customer Services and Sales teams. Marley also has a range of new renewable energy products such as solar PV panels, where you\'ll be tasked with offering guidance and support and provide optimised solar arrays. The range will continue to grow, and you will need to learn and develop your understanding, to provide advice and support on these innovations.

What will you need to bring with you?
Previous success has shown we need a confident communicator who has solid estimating experience and can produce technical specifications. Additionally, some experience reading, measuring and creating line drawings in AutoCAD will be a bonus but don\'t worry if not as training will be provided. You don\'t need to have done the same job, but you do need to show us your ambition and passion to build upon your experience within a technically minded and customer facing role.

Additional skills and experience that will stand you in good stead:
  • Strong logical thinker with solid numerical reasoning skills
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • The ability to quickly learn about new products.
  • The ability to interpret project drawings and specifications will be a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills, advising customers by telephone and email.
  • Experience in preparing quotations and technical communications.
  • Strong ability to build relationships.
  • Organised, accurate, with a great attention to detail.
  • Ideally experienced within a similar role in the building/construction industry
